I was wondering if I could wrap the actual exhaust snail of the turbo with header wrap like I did my manifold and downpipe? I don't see why not I just thought I'd ask, i don't have the money for a turbo blanket right now but I do have a lot of header wrap in my shed. Any input?

agreed with Runt. The blanket is made to do that, the heat wrap will most likely not stay on the hot side for long. Give it a shot though if you wish.

You can probably won't work all that well but you'd best just getting it heat coated or saving for the blanket.

Hey Chris... Since everyone's telling you to either get it coated or blanketed... You probably wont be needing the wraps eh?
