Well I have decided to change my existing turbo setup cuz it just isn't at all fast enough for me. devil2.gif
Old setup
Stock z6
y8 intake mani,hondata gasket,gsr throttle body
exedy stage1 clutch
accel wires
greddy turbo kit
walbro fuel pump, earls inline fuel filter
2.5 custom exhaust

Well I have started to piece together my new setup the winter. I already have my block with eagle rods, and vitara piston's, stock head, autoworks log mani. greddy 18g turbo.

I'am in the process of getting a t3-t25 adapter plate so i can mount the tubo to the mani, also have to buy a v-band adapter so I can have a 3in. downpipe made.

I was wondering if any1 knows someone or a shop who will make me a 3in downpipe? Is there anywhere local that anybody knows about who has the t3-t25 adapter plate that I'am looking for.

I never put it on the dyno. It runs good , but its just not no where near enough power for me. I'm shooting for 350 on this turbo, that's after I go to a external wastegate setup.

Ok now I'm thinking of just selling the 18g and buying a 57trim. Anybody have any good input on what would be the best way to go?

your going with a .70 a/r for what reason... thats a small motor and there is really no need for something that big... you do mean .70 on the cold side right....

what size exhaust housing are you wanting to go with.... ?

Ewww.. the .70 will not be ideal for your motor.. Tanner is right.. its far too small for that.. I would go with a .55 if possible.. I can get you a brand new borg warner 50 or 57 trim with a .55 a/r for CHEAP if youre interested.

ya a .48 or .55 exhaust housing would be good for a single slammer.... i made 316whp on 11psi with a .48 exhaust housing on a gsr

and go with the 57 trim....

Ya it's big but so is the power that the single slam is going to push out. Shooting for 400 on stock sleeves and the on the sleeved block I'm going for at least 500-600hp yes.gif yes.gif

you still don't need a fucking .70 exhaust housing on a motor that small.... and your not going to make 5-600 hp on a 57 trim either, no matter how big the exhaust housing is...

like i said , if you want that thing to spool, the HIGHEST you need to go is .63 on the exhaust housing...

and you will still have to run LOTS of boost on a 57 trim to hit 400whp on stock sleeves, you won't do it on pump gas thats for sure.

a .70 will spool so damn late your not gonna have any usable power... believe me!

ya i thought when you said .70 you meant the cold side.. but wasn't sure... cold side doesn't matter too much... when your talking about turbos and you say the a/r, your normally taking about exhaust side ....

so ya... get a .55 .... .63 might work but still may be a little big... and a .60a/r cold side would be fine too

either way, i don't forsee 400whp on pump gas(at least not with a 57 trim) , with some race gas maybe
