Got tired of the gym's machines, got tired of driving to a buddy's house to lift, and life just got in the way.
I have a squat bench in the house with a lat pull and 245lbs of weight.In a house now, not banging 5 different chicks a week, smoking has been reduced from 40 a day to 3, life is more stable now.
Here we go.
I was averaging almost four times this weight before i fell off the wagoon. My thighs and nuts hurt.

Switched to 5x8.Paying very close attention to form with these light weights.

Keep the rep range lower and sets higher for that. You can concentrate more on form and increase the load. Increasing the load = more mass = more bulk. Higher rep sets definitely have their place and yes you can get bulky doing them (see bodybuilders), but for beginners/novices and even those looking for more maximal strength gains it's more ideal to work in the lower rep range. Also as I mentioned before it's less mentally exhausting than say a 5x5 program. That's important for the average guy or girl just looking to get in shape.
