Will do boss. Garland isn't that bad, well depending on the area. I am moving on to step 2 at Denton with another test on Wednesday, will not have to worry about a physical ability test with them.

Starting to notice my conditioning work pick up and help me out in my soccer matches, been struggling the first half of the season with recovering from sprints chasing motherfuckers down on diagonal passes over me. Tonight played in a match where it was constant 30 yard sprints, shocked myself with how much faster my acceleration is after hitting the ole prowler.
Was getting into game two till some jack weed clipped my ankle, couldn't hit the ball with my laces hoping nothing too major so I'm not down on any leg day activities this week

In case any of y'all needed an incentive to come check out our services.
Can be used for a week's worth of group training plus 30 min consultation, or an hour of personal training and 30 min consultation. If any of you have any potential referrals that would be greatly appreciated

First time injury for myself here, but managed to pull my left side of my torso during a soccer tourney this past weekend. Was taking off for a sprint defending a through ball, felt a bit of a cramp so didn't think much of it just tried to calm myself down (have an issue with stress induced cramping during deportes). Few minutes later get on my horse for another chase, side seizes up on me and fight through it to get my tackle in, then slowly walk off the field. Any sort of jog and it would seize up on me, two days now starting to be able to function normally.
Anyway still won the championship 4 years running so I'm basically apart of a dynasty.

Prrreetty crazy event.
We fell like 6 hours short of the winners time (Bowerman Track Club), but it was a pretty fun team effort.
One of our exchange vans got lost and delayed us half an hour.
Our total team pace for 199 miles ended up being 7:12 min/mile.
I had to run part of one guys leg, so I totaled about 20-21 miles
My first leg, I started off at about a 6:10 pace, then the last 3 miles were a pretty substantial hill, where I finished at a 6:40 pace.
The second leg at 3:45AM, I took a bunch of caffeine and ran my 8 mile leg at 6:41. I was pretty proud of that considering it's my first time to ever run at a time of day like that. I had a head lamp, vest and lights on. It was mainly motivating to pick off runners in front of me.
My third leg at 11:30AM, was kind of a disaster. We sat in traffic waiting to get to the next checkpoint for 2 hours. I didn't have time to stretch and never fell asleep. So I was awake for 24hrs and the first 3.5 miles of the leg were up a substantial hill. The last 3 miles were downhill and my legs didn't appreciate that either... I think I ended up running a high 7 minute mile. Just glad I made it up that hill honestly.

Sounds like a fun event. There's a local guy here who went and ran with the Nuun team. He posted a ton of pics and stuff on FB and it looked like a blast.

i went and did a 'track' workout that happens every tuesday at work. they did it on a trail this time because of the heat.
i was really hoping it'd by like 600s or something considering hood 2 coast... BUT it was a 5k time trial
i started out at about the pace i was capable of 3 weeks ago, but cracked about a mile in and finished at 21:00 I find the preceeding statement humerous!.
my legs are still tirrred. hoping in a week or two, this turns into speed.
